About Us

GOAL

The World Meditation League (WML) aims to establish meditation as a respected profession by identifying impactful techniques and using science and technology to measure peak states in advanced practitioners. By creating professional pathways for meditators who live with the discipline of athletes, WML brings meditation to a global stage through championship events, substantial prizes, and public showcases, promoting its power for self-empowerment and fulfilment.

WML aims to unite expert meditators and scientists, advancing meditation as a deeply human pursuit in an era shaped by technology. Through diverse, inclusive competitions, we aim to foster global connection, uphold ethical standards, and inspire new generations while encouraging innovative fusion of meditation styles for the future.

ANSWERING THE
BIG QUESTION

Can inner peace be pursued as a competitive sports?

Imagine a world where meditators come together to challenge and expand the boundaries of inner calm and focus. In this arena, they strive not for superiority over others but for mastery over themselves, pushing the limits of silence, clarity, and concentration. Can we truly measure the depth of inner peace or quantify mastery in meditation? Perhaps the journey itself is the goal—a quest that evolves with every attempt, each insight revealing new dimensions of personal growth and potential.

ERKIN'S
THOUGHTS

Reflecting on our journey here, I’m excited to share a revelation—the untapped richness within us all. Have you ever sensed a treasure inside, far surpassing work or productivity? For me, meditating in nature offered moments of profound self-immersion, a stark contrast to the machine-like routines of daily life. I realised these moments of inner exploration should truly define our existence and even become a valuable profession.

Our ancestors gifted us the practice of meditation, a tool for deep self-discovery. Through collaborations with SVYASA in Bangalore and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, our organisation, All Here, has embarked on groundbreaking research to understand and benchmark meditation’s benefits. This journey led to the creation of the World Meditation League, a pioneering movement to establish meditation as a recognised, professional pursuit.
