June 22nd, We have launched the inaugural Geneva Meditation Challenge, the world’s first public showcase of Quantified Meditation by World Meditation League & All Here.
Throughout the day, participants from various traditions that included TM Meditation, Theravada’s, Jhana meditation, Heartfulness, ArtOfLiving, Mindfulness among others, meditated while their brain activity was recorded and visualized live using EEG-guided Brain-Computer Interface technology.
It was a powerful moment of witnessing meditation as never seen before — brought to life through Science and Technology.
It was a marathon of meditation, where all participants could take part and challenge themselves in reducing mind wandering, testing their concentration, regulating their attention, while reaching for inner silence, in a beautiful shared experience bringing together contemplative practice, science and technology.
We thank all the participants, spectators, and collaborators who helped bring this unique vision to life. Your presence and energy turned this scientific & technological showcase into a shared moment of insight, exchange, and interconnectedness.
This is the beginning of a global journey, with the Next stop: Tokyo Meditation Challenge. InspireToMeditate with Science and Technology.
Thank you to our brilliant presenter Rob Walker https://robwalkertv.co.uk/ the TV commentator from British television networks.
