WML Global Tour
Tokyo Quantified
Meditation Challenge
2 Oct 2025
Tokyo Hosts
Quantified Meditation Challenge
by World Meditation League
In association with Kengo Kuma, Ken Mogi
and Mindful Kamakura
The World Meditation League will host Japan's first meditation challenge in Tokyo. Three highly trained practitioners will participate in a Quantified Meditation challenge using real-time Brain–Computer Interface (BCI) technology. Their inner states will be visualized as data for the audience, accompanied by expert scientific and sports commentary to guide interpretation.
The program will also include keynote presentations by leading figures in science, architecture, and mindfulness, among them architect Kengo Kuma and neuroscientist Ken Mogi. Guests will gain first-hand exposure to innovative concepts such as “Meditation Cities”, which explore how mental well-being can be integrated into civic and cultural life.
ZENBU KOKO XR PLATFORM
Kengo Kuma & Associates and All Here will present ZENBU KOKO, an immersive ‘inward-looking’ virtual reality space that blends architecture, neuroscience, and design offering the public a multisensory journey into focused awareness.
