ZENBU KOKO
PUBLIC UNVEILING

October 7-9
Tokyo 2025 Meditation City Circuit

Zenbu Koko—the meditation capsule by Kengo Kuma & Associates and All Here— made its public debut at the serene grounds of Zuishō-ji Temple on October 7–9, where attendees experienced the mixed-reality meditation platform firsthand.

The demonstration sessions brought together a cross-disciplinary community — advanced meditators, wellness leaders, artists, martial artists, journalists, policymakers, researchers, meditation coaches, engineers, and architects — all drawn to a purposeful design in which their distinct interests naturally intersect.

STATE-OF-THE-ART DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY

A unique immersive experience

Zenbukoko-026.JPG

Zenbu Koko (‘All Here’ in Japanese), is a mixed-reality (XR) meditation platform that serves as a threshold between the real world and the participant’s inner atmosphere.

This XR platform offers immersive experiences featuring natural landscapes, such as forests, skies, and outer cosmic space, dissolving boundaries between self and environment.

Inspired by geodesic forms with triangulated elements, Zenbu Koko embodies a dissolved reality depicting the world and universe of particles.

By blending familiar elements of the real world with novel virtual environments, the platform fosters safety and familiarity while inviting exploration of expansive, meditative atmospheres. This seamless design bridges tangible and virtual realms, offering a unique space for inner contemplation.

The collaboration between Kengo Kuma and All Here represents a significant step forward in mixed-reality meditation platforms.

By merging neuroscience, technology, design, and contemplative practices, Zenbu Koko delivers an immersive experience that enhances self-awareness and fosters deeper connections with both inner and outer environments.

This innovative approach aligns with Kengo Kuma’s architectural philosophy and All Here's mission, offering a modern, accessible pathway to meditation.

The platform combines the roles of an educational tool, scientific instrument, and artistic expression, making it an engaging yet profound gateway to inward exploration.

Founded in 1670, Zuishō-ji is the first temple in Tokyo of the Ōbaku (Zen) school, a tradition brought to Japan by the Priest Ingen during the Edo period.

Its main hall is designated an Important Cultural Property, and recent additions by Kengo Kuma harmonize modern architecture with centuries of spiritual heritage.

Zuishō-ji continues to embody the contemplative spirit of Zen heritage—inviting all to pause, reflect, and return within.
